Issa Dash and Ak are two young enlightened Emcees from Brooklyn that have been buzzing all around the city. They've been affiliated with NY's new generation of Hip Hop cliques such as A$AP, The Pro Era, and specifically Flatbush Zombies, but The Underachievers are serving up something different to be a standalone movement. Their hypnotizing production and positive message is what caught my ear and had me searching for more music by them and also wanting to awaken my 3rd eye. The conscious heavy rhymes from this duo are bound to attract the neo revolutionaries.
Issa says on Leopard Shepard "Elevate your thinking young Gods. Smoke loud, dream free, you'll live large. Respect karma keep progressing and get far" which is an incontestable message that I can definitely support. Their anticipated project INDIGOISM has a release date of September 11.
